SWIMMING FOR EVERYONE
LEARN TO SWIM
LEARNING TO SWIM FOR ADULTS
More than a swim lesson.
This is where real change begins. In the privacy of my purpose-built Endless Pool clinic in Kilcullen, I offer 30-minute one-to-one sessions designed around you. Whether you’ve avoided water for decades or you’re finally ready to work on a stroke that’s never felt quite right, this is a safe, structured space to explore your next step — whatever that looks like.
Many of my swimmers carry a story with them — a moment where swimming became scary, overwhelming, or simply not for them. In these sessions, we rewrite that story. Carefully, respectfully, with support and a little challenge (I don’t believe in flat rollercoasters, after all). This isn’t like the typical adult group class at your local pool. You’ll get my full attention and expertise honed from years of coaching nervous adults, triathletes, and open water swimmers. I read where you’re at, what you need in that moment, and tailor each session to unlock progression — not just survival.
Sessions are 30 minutes long, and the real magic happens when you commit to practice between them. The sweet spot? A session every 2–3 weeks, with personalised homework to keep things moving forward. The goal isn’t just to learn to swim. It’s to feel different in your body. To find freedom, confidence, and possibility — through water.

which testimonials will i put in here?
When Maxine started to offer 1-to-1 video analysis I was first in line. After she went through the footage of my stroke from all angles and explained the key areas for improvement, I had a much better understanding of my swim type (I'm an Arnie!) and where I was going wrong. I got straight back in the pool to start fixing it with Maxine's stroke correction process. There was an instant improvement in my technique. Video analysis and the stroke correction process is by far the most valuable thing I have done when it comes to my swimming.

"I started squad with Maxine in September 2019, undoubtedly one of the best decisions I've made. Maxine's knowledge and pedagogy backed by passion has created a squad experience like no other, open water swimming has become my favourite thing to do". 😊

As a swim coach Maxine knows people as well as swimming and I think that’s her secret weapon. She knows when to push you and when to cut you some slack but always seems to get the best out of us all. The fun and laughing with the other squad members keeps me coming back but also the sense of achievement after each session. Love it!
